IIM AHMEDABAD (IIMA) OPENING ITS FIRST OVERSEAS CAMPUS IN DUBAI, UAE, MIDDLE EAST: INDIA'S PRE-HISTORIC EMINENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION SPREADING WINGS GLOBALLY

IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) is our Own in India, it is one of the Best Centres of Higher Education in the Management Area, well known Globally, and this fact is undisputable. 

IIMA was established  in 1960s post Independence of India in the close vicinity of years of Post Independence, while some of the best known of the IITs, IIMs and AIIMS were established in India with the noble purpose of Resurrecting and Consolidating a large Nation of India that was left highly ravaged and bruised in 1947 when we snatched Independence of India from the 300years of painful British Rule. IIMA is known to have been established with whole hearted and initial technical support of Harvard Business School of USA in 1960s and over the last 65years IIMA has been transformed to be more Indianized and it has a vast resource base and adequate imprint of India's pre-historic Education Eminence, that would not be wrong and out of place to say. 

So far, IIMA had restricted itself to its Campus at Ahmedabad, India only, however its effort to expand its its Turf and Spread in the Overseas Direction with the help and support of Ministry of Education of Incumbent Government of India, under the Umbrella Leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the Education Ministry being led by leadership of the Hon'ble Union Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji, is the auspicious beginning of spreading the High Quality Educational Standards of India known since Pre-Historic Days from our Erstwhile Nalanda and Takshasila Universities those were known in the past Internationally, to place India in the Global Educational Field prominently. Also to establish the fact, that we are behind None of the World in the field of Education as well.

About the Author : Dr. Nimain Charan Biswal is a B.Sc.(Agri. Science and Technology), M.B.A. and Ph.D.(Management Area ) by qualifications; and he has 39+ years of work experience in Social, both industrial and Development sectors in diversified fields of Social Importance. He has been educated at Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT)-Bhubaneswar, Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and Gujarat University (with Resource Support of IIM-Ahmedabad).
