KNOW ABOUT FREE HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEMES OF GOVERNMENT OF INDIA IF YOU DO NOT KNOW


Dear Readers,

The Present Government of India is giving the following Free Insurance Schemes to the Citizens of India please take note who are not knowing about it for your benefit:

1.   AYUSHMAN BHARAT SCHEME - Eligibility Criteria Based
Under Free Ayushman Bharat Scheme of Government of India, any Eligible Citizen (Fulfilling the Criteria of the Scheme) is entitled to Rs 5 Lakhs (INR 500,000) of Health Insurance Cover. This Scheme is right now available in all the States of India, except the State of West Bengal (as the State Government's concurrence to Participate with Central Government with the internal arrangement is necessary, the States who have concurred it is available there for the State Residents accordingly). 

2.   70 and 70+ years SENIOR CITIZEN HEALTH SCHEME - No Eligibility Criteria Applied, only Age 70 or 70+
Under Free 70 or 70+years Senior Citizen Health Scheme of Government of India, all Citizens of India who are 70 or 70+years by age are covered for Free Health Insurance Cover of Rs. 5 lakhs (INR 500,000). Other than 70 or 70+years Age Criteria, No Other Criteria is Applicable. Anybody and everybody of Indian Citizens who is 70 or 70+years in age, can take benefit of this Free Scheme (Rich or Poor, Billionaire or Millionaire, Person on the Streets, Huts or living in Palaces, No Other Criteria Nothing Applies other than the Age). This is available in all the States of India, however this Scheme is also Not-Available in the State of West Bengal right now. 
In this 70 or 70+ Senior Citizen Health Scheme, the Additional Feature is, those Citizens who are Eligible for the Rs. 5-Lakhs Cover under Ayushman Bharat Scheme ( Eligibility Criteria based) and are 70 or 70+years by age, they will also have the Rs. 5 Lakhs Cover of 70 or 70+ age category of Senior Citizens thus they will have Rs. 10 Lakhs (INR 1-Million) Health Insurance Cover ( total of the 2-Schemes ) 

Those who would be themselves eligible and who have Parents, Parents-in-law or Other Relatives who can be covered under the above Free Schemes of Government, they should legally and legitimately take benefit of these schemes of the Government free of cost.

Everyone also must note that the Age limit of 65 that was there for Health Insurance Coverage roughly 2-years before, has been removed by IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority), there is no Age Limit for Health Insurance Coverage in India now. 

Insurance is always a Personal and Private Subject Matter. Please try to find out more details of these Free Government Health Insurance Schemes, depending on your eligibility of health insurance from other sources like from your Employer or Government in other ways, to get your entitlement matter cleared. I just mentioned the basic features of the Government of India Free Health Insurance Schemes for your benefit, information and knowledge. 

Although these Schemes of Government of India are not applicable to the State of West Bengal now, the State Government of State of West Bengal may have alternative arrangements for the Citizens and Residents of the said State it has to be ascertained by the concerned citizens of India residing there in the said state, the details of which have not been in my knowledge so far, with due respect and without any bias in any way and in any manner.
