Dear Readers,

Today, on 27-June-2025, the World Famous "Rath Yatra" of the Great "Lord Jagannath" at Puri in Odisha (India) is being held, with its traditional heritage. The "Rath Yatra" of the Great Lord in similar lines is also followed at many places within India and across the World, where the Indians live and the "Lord Jagannath Philosophy" (Lord Jagannath Sanskruti) has been adopted. 

"Lord Jagannath" is considered as the "People's Lord", a very kind God. The Significance of "Rath Yatra" of "Lord Jagannath" is that, the "Lord Comes to People" in reverse, in stead of people going to His Temple in this Festival. The Great Lord becomes accessible to People in General irrespective of Caste, Creed and Religion by His Rath Yatara. 

BEST WISHES FOR EVERYONE ON THE OCCASION OF THIS RATH YATRA OF "LORD JAGANNATH". 

Today is the Forward Journey of the Great Lord. It is a 10days Festival, when the Lord remains out side of His Regular abode (the Main Temple at Puri), remains on the "Rath" (the Chariot) while traveling, and in an alternate temple, known as "Gundicha Temple" to Bless the  People during these 10days. On the 10th day, the Lord takes the Return Journey back to the Main Temple by the same Rath Yatra. 

It is not only "Lord Jagannath",  His Elder Brother "Lord Balaram" and His Sister " Devi Subhadra" who share His Abode with him, also embark on the "Rath Jatra" by their separate "Raths" (Chariots), So the Rath Yatra also shows the "togetherness" among the sibling lords.
