OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE OF INDIA SAYS TO PROVIDE PROTECTION TO THE "GUEST" AND THE "SHELTERED" ALLOWED BY US AT ALL COSTS
Dear Readers,
Our Cultural Heritage of India says to provide Protection to the "Guest" and the "Sheltered" allowed by us at all Costs.
Our Cultural Heritage of India (Bharat) believes as said in Sanskrit, "Atithi Devo Bhaba", meaning a "Guest is as good as God"; if we have accepted as a "Guest".
Hear me first with a very short legendary story:
Once
a Thief was chased by the King's Men to catch and kill him. The thief
was running for shelter while the king's men were running behind chasing
him. At some point the thief saw a Garden and went inside and hid
himself in the garden. There was a Old Gardener who saw the thief hiding
in the Garden and he knew the location where the thief was hiding
inside the garden. The chasing and running king's men then came and
asked the Old Gardener; "Have you seen the thief hiding in the Garden and can you tell us where is he, it is the Order of the king for us to catch him". The Gardener said,"No, I haven't seen any person hiding in this Garden". After a few years the Old Gardener died. His accounts of life were examined in heaven, and he was asked in heaven "Why did you tell lie while the thief was hiding in your Garden". The Gardener's Soul said, "A
person(a human) had taken shelter in the Garden I knew. If I would have
told the truth to the king's men they would have killed him. That
Person was a "Guest" and a "Sheltered" in my Garden, I did not know and
it was not necessary for me to know what he was, thief or whatever the
king's men described him, it was my duty to give protection to that
person as a "Guest" and "Sheltered" to protect his life"
The Old Gardener's Soul was allowed to live in "Heaven" and was not allowed to go to "Hale" (while
there was a possibility for it to go to "Hale" for the Lie the Old
Gardener had said had it been under normal circumstances, and he did it
on an exceptional circumstance).
Now
I am writing this note in the context of "Hon'ble Former Prime Minister
of our Dear Neighbour Bangladesh- Ms. Shaikh Hasina" and now Bangladesh
as per News Reports in Public Domain appearing since yesterday, I am
giving some links of such news reports, that the present
Interim-Dispension of Bangladesh wants India to extradite her. India has
an Extradition Treaty with Bangladesh, however there are also exclusion clauses, the clauses for refusal of extradition with reasoning
in that Treaty, you can search, find and try to read, I can not explain
it right now due to protocol and legal reasons, you may find it also in
some of the news links I am giving below.
But
it is also the Truth that when the said Hon'ble Former Prime Minister
of Bangladesh came seeking shelter for her life on August 05, 2024; the
Government of India (the Nation of India) agreed to allow her military
plane carrying her to land in Indian territory as a "Guest" and
"Sheltered" for her life, that was the news published in public domain
then. Although at that time she had plans to seek regular asylum in any
other country, she I am sure has tried a lot as per news in public
domain from time to time, but it has not been possible for her so far.
She remains in India as a "Guest" and "Sheltered", the matter starts and
end there, our Cultural Heritage of India stands by.
It
is also the truth that in the past, after Indo-Pak war in 1971 and the
Bangladesh was constituted as an independent country primarily by India,
and in its afterwards happenings in our Dear Neighbouring country
Bangladesh, the Entire Family of Ms. Shaikh Hasina were assassinated in
the past excluding only herself and a sister of her who were kids then,
who were also given "Shelter" as guests for years in our Delhi, in our
India (Bharat). This historical truth has to be also respected and kept in mind.
If you like you can read at the following news links, or find yourself in the public domain to read:
The Times of India News Report .... saying "Note Verbale"(Diplomatic Message) to India from Bangladesh
The Business Today News Report ......saying the views of Former Foreign Secretary of India on the subject
The Mint News Report -- gives a lot of accounts of the subject matter.
For
reasons of Protocol involving National and International contexts and
Legal Reasons; I am not going to say or explain anything more on this
subject in this note. You can assess and judge by yourself.
