NATIONAL HONOURS (STATE HONOURS) IN COMPLETING CREMATION OF DR. MANMOHAN SINGH TODAY: BY PARTICIPATION OF ALL -SIGNIFIES THE NATIONAL VALUES WE CARRY IN INDIA (BHARAT)


Dear Readers,

It has been a very sad news as Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Former Prime Minister of India, has his Sad Demise and has passed away on 26-December-2024 night.   

There has been due National Honours (otherwise called as State Honours) given duly, in Completing Cremation and Consigning the Mortal Remains of Hon'ble Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Hon'ble Former Prime Minister of India and while he also happened to be the Hon'ble Father of one of our  classmates, a classmate to me at Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) while doing MBA in the same batch.

I myself was keenly glued to the Television Set, watching and observing everything that was being broadcasted through Television in Public Domain live, as many ordinary citizens of India (Bharat) should have done and the Nation with its All Functionaries including the Ruling Executive Arm, Defense Arm, Opposition Arms and from All Quarters including the Ordinary Citizens of  India, to the extent I could observe from the beginning to the end of the all live broadcast and understood within my little knowledge and exposure so far, has left no stone unturned to honour Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Former Prime Minister of India in completing the last rites, in doing cremation and consigning the mortal remains to flames finally. It got completed,  in the presence of the Hon'ble President of India, Ms. Draupadi Murmu ji, Hon'ble Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji, Hon'ble Incumbent Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi ji, Hon'ble Leader of Opposition  Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, Hon'ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, Hon'ble Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh ji, Hon'ble BJP President cum Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda ji, Hon'ble Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji, Hon'ble Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge ji, Hon'ble Family Members of Dr. Manmohan Singh ji, and Many Dignitaries of the Nation from All Quarters irrespective of party lines and ideological followings and Ordinary Citizens and People of India. Also as International Dignitaries; the Hon'ble King of Bhutan and the Hon'ble Foreign Minister of Mauritius were present.  It signifies the Values we carry in India(Bharat).

In fact, I myself have been watching very keenly being glued to the TV Set since the morning and beginning of the last journey of Dr. Singh for cremation and last rites of him got completed and I have not touched Food and even the breakfast, as according to the faith I follow very sincerely, the  mythology and scriptures guide me not to have even food while a person gets cremated for his/her due honours and respects, it is true, I did not have any food till the last rights of Dr. Manmohan Singh was completed as I watched on Tele Vision.

The Hon'ble Home Ministry of Central Government as announced by Hon'ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, after a Central Cabinet Meeting yesterday (27-Dec-2024) as it came in public domain, the Government of India has kindly and honourably decided by a Cabinet Meeting of yesterday, to give land space for a Memorial to come up for Dr. Manmohan Singh, by following due procedural formalities required to hand over the space for memorial by constituting a Trust. 

Volumes have been written so far and volumes will also be written further in future, he (Dr. Manmohan Singh) will be looked after rightly by the history and its time line, as I have said in my earlier communications to friends else where,  and while sending a condolence message from our Alumni Email Group through our classmate friend who has been our classmate at IRMA, the respectable second daughter of Dr. Manmohan Singh, I did not dare venture touching the subject of such a Towering Personality, let the Public and Public Media deal with it, which they have been doing extensively so far, however I have said Dr. Manmohan Singh was an "Able Son of India (Bharat)" it would mean everything and all that can be said about him, I wanted to say through only these few words. Due condolence on sad demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh has been sent and delivered to the family of Dr. Manmohan Singh through our IRMAN class mate friend and his respectable daughter.  

I think everyone, the Nation of India has tried to do the Best to recognize this "Able Son of India" so far.
