Lord Ganesh, is very kind, is very famous world wide as the "Elephant-headed God", He is respected without religious boundaries, it is true, I have seen quite in a number of countries I have traveled in the past, where Indians live or even otherwise from ages, also many people used to enquire about Him when there used to be discussions with exchange of courtesy and pleasantries, as I am an Indian from India.

Lord Ganesh Philosophy deals with Upholding the Right Principle at Whatever Cost.
Not Compromising under pressure of coercion. Lord Ganesh while upholding the Principle of "Assigned Responsibility of guarding the Door of the Path Leading to a Place where his Mother "Goddess Parvati" had gone for taking bath, fought a War with his Own Father "Lord Shiva", the "Lord Mahadev" ( the Boss of the Gods ), who pressured and coerced Him for the entry to that place. In the War with His Own Father "Lord Shiva" he lost his original head, however Lord Shiva was compelled to make him alive again however without the choice of an Elephant Head. However, Lord Shiva was compelled to Bless Lord Ganesh, His son who was resurrected with elephant head as the compensation for his sacrifice, that Lord Ganesh will be called and Worshipped first before any other God to be worshipped in an worshipping ritual. That is why the Ancient and all time Supreme Sanskrit Recital which says like this " Gane (i.e. Ganesh), Narayane, Rudre, Ambike, Bhaskare tatha......"

It is Good to remember Lord Ganesh today. "Lord Ganesh Philosophy" is a Great Philosophy respected world wide without Religious Boundaries.

Lord Ganesh in the name of "Lord Siddhi Vinayak" is the Presiding Deity of the City of Mumbai (India).  I have explained the concept of Presiding Deity some times earlier.
