Dear Readers,

In a Multi-Party Operated Democracy, the Governance by Coalition is an "Inherent Strength" in Democracy- Never any Weakness. It is the Beauty of Democracy Fortified by Constitutional Checks and Balances within the motto " NATION FIRST ".

In a Large Democracy like India, where the population is 1400 million ( 140 Crores ) out of which 900 million (90 Crores) are Registered Voters, the Democracy is Operated by a Multi-Party Political System, where in more than 50 Political Parties operate with prominence of different sizes, in such a "Gigantic System", when Free and Fair Elections are held with democratic sanctity, in a General Election, it may not be always possible that a Single Party can come out with "Simple Majority" numbers ( 50% of the Seats of the Parliament/State Assembly +1 ). Some times the Simple Majority may come in favour of any Single Party, and many times it may not come, we have seen it many times over the history, at least over the 75 years of History of Independent India.  No logic, No Statistics and No Probability Techniques can hold good in such a Gigantic Multi-Party Political System to ensure Single-Party Simple-Majority. Hence the corollary is "Coalition Governance" with the Motto of "Nation First". In such a Gigantic Multi-Party Political System, many times there won't be choice to "Coalition Governance", there will be no choice also than reconciling with "Coalition Governance".

If any single party does not get Simple-Majority in a General Election in such a Gigantic Multi-Party System of India is also not any weakness of fault of any Party, there is no logic of any accusation and taunting, all and everyone tried their Best, however, it is the People of India exercised their Franchise and if the Result leads to "Coalition Governance" we should be prepared to embrace the "Coalition Governance" most happily and without hesitation with the motto of "Nation First".

When the Simple Majority is not available to any Single Party in a General Election, then the Coalition of the Pre-Poll Alliance of different political parties(that has got the majority), is the First Choice. Because, before going to polls, they had understood and agreed together to contest the Elections with a Common Objective together.

A Post Poll Alliance Coalition could be and generally may be an "Unholy Alliance", it happens many times and may happen, however, it will also be termed as an "Opportunistic Alliance" other than calling it "Unholy Alliance", as such a Coalition Alliance will not drive the Nation in a Path of Straight line, that  a Pre-Poll Alliance will do, it will drive the Nation in a Path of Twisted and Serpentine nature, as the aim of the post-poll alliance partners may be to utilize/exploit the Nation with Opportunistic Objectives (it can be easily understood).

When a Pre-Poll Coalition Alliance resolves to work with "Commitment to the Cause". " Trust among each other " and "Nation First Motto" it can also give Best Performance to the Nation, even Better than the Best that could otherwise have been possible by a Simple Majority given to any Single Political Party. It is said, "The Combination of Action of Two Brains could be better than One Brain". Also in the Science of Genetics it is a Principle that " The Hybrid Vigour is always Better than the Participating Individual Parental Vigour " which means, if a Hybrid ( Breeding in simple language ) is developed out of two individual genetic materials, the Vigour (Performance Parameter ) of the Hybrid will be always better than the Vigour of the participating individual genetic material. Similarly if a Pre-Poll Coalition can work really with "Commitment", "Trust" and "Nation First Motto", it can perform even much better than a Single Party Majority in the interest of the Nation.

In fact, when the "Nation First" motto is worked on, the Ruling Party ( or Ruling Coalition ) and Opposition Party ( or Opposition Coalition ) can work together to bring in the Best Results and Performance for the Nation. .... This may be the ideal situation ... but not impossible, if both sides resolve honestly to work with "Nation First" Motto.

In a Coalition Governance, if it works well with "Commitment", "Trust" and "Nation First Motto", there will be enough checks and balances including "Constitutional Checks and Balances" available so that all decisions can be very close to "Optimal Decision Situations", the Nation can Perform nothing less than "Shining" on its objectives.

To Quote Honestly from the Proceedings of the "NDA Alliance Meet" held at the Central Hall of Parliament of India yesterday ( 07-June-2024 ), in fact, while addressing therein Shri Narendra Modi, being elected as the Leader of NDA Alliance and Leader of "Lok Sabha" to take Oath of Office as the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India by the 3rd Term of Office of his excellency on 09-06-2024, tomorrow, did say that the NDA Alliance has resolved with "Commitment", "Trust" and "Nation First Motto", of course the NDA Alliance Partners, all of them prior to his address have  promised the commitment to NDA Alliance in that meet.  If this happens the reality, let us hope for the best... nothing more to comment at this point of time, to remain with a positive frame of mind with "Nation First" motto.

I would also like to point out, in India now a days, some people and some sections of people who have got into politics without even adequate personal credentials and by chance without any further choice or by opportunistic choice, or by family and inheritance back ground, they feel, Politics is only their Fiefdom, nobody knows politics better than them, they are the only Breed in India to Rule, nobody other than them has any idea of Administration of State Affairs .... let me tell you it is not true.  There are much better people with better credentials, given a chance and opportunity like so called masters of politics and always throned in politics who capitalize the field of politics without credentials, the better people with credentials afore-said will Perform much better and Show Better Results to the Nation/State, than those so called masters of politics and masters of administration always throned. It is a real myth that the People who have not worked in the so called politics do not know what is politics and do not know what administration of state affairs could be ( this myth is not true ). Right from Birth, normally every person has a Political Faculty of the Brain, that can be utilized best to produce Best Results in the Interest of the Nation/State at any point of time, given the Opportunity and the Throne to operate, and if the Political Faculty of the Brain can be put to Best Use, there can not be any doubt about it. Yes, the Personal Credentials such as Qualifications and Experiences acquired post-birth, do help to a great extent in Performing in handling state affairs, not necessarily it have to be drawn from political arena only. Usually some people create barriers for allowing other better-qualified people to enter the politics, it is by far true.

I am writing this note to enforce the point and negate the views many times expressed in public domain from various quarters, that the "Coalition Governance" could be weak, with a Question Mark always and so many negativity of it said often by various entities.... if said without vengeance, even the Coalition Governance is the Strength of Democracy, not any weakness and it is the Beauty of Democracy ( with checks and balances of its own) fortified with Constitutional Checks and Balances within the motto "Nation First".
