GREETINGS OF THE REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA ON 26-JANUARY-2024
INDIA'S BEAUTIFUL TRADITION OF CELEBRATING THE TWO NATIONAL DAYS WITH SHARED PROTOCOL BETWEEN THE HON'BLE(S) PRESIDENT AND PRIME MINISTER
Its India's Beautiful Tradition, a Beautiful Tradition of Shared Protocol arrangement to Celebrate the Two National Days, where in :
1. The Honourable President of India does the National Honour of Unfurling and Hoisting the National Flag on the Republic Day on 26th January.
2. The Honourable Prime Minister of India does the National Honour of Unfurling and Hoisting the National Flag on the Independence Day on 15th August.
This is very meaningful, very thoughtfully adopted tradition, very distinguished in the World, among all the Nations.
The 15th August 1947 was the first Independence day of India from British Rule then, and on the 15th August, the Independence Day is celebrated by Hoisting of the National Flag of India, the Tri-Color, at the Red Fort at New Delhi, by the Incumbent Prime MInister of India, who presides over the Celebrations, and addresses the Nation from the Red Fort, as an Independent and Sovereign Nation, as the Head of the Government and Executive Head of the Nation, with his/her vision and policy ingredients. The Independence Day thus remains committed to the Hon'ble Prime Minister and the Celebrations to be presided and the honours of Flag Hoisting to be done by the incumbent Prime Minister.
The 26th January 1950, was the day, on which India declared herself as a Republic, a Nation owned and managed by its People and not by a King or Monarch or any Dictator, a Democratic Republic, by adoption and enforcement of the Indian Constitution by the Republic of India, the Nation on this day. The Hon'ble President of India, an Indirectly Elected Chair, elected through the Representatives of the People of India, who does not belong to any Political Party after assuming the Chair of the President of India, being with the Responsibility of upholding the Constitution of India at all costs and at all times in all situations, by Protocol clearly shared and demarcated, does the honours of presiding over the celebrations of the Republic Day on 26th January by unfurling and hoisting the National Flag of India, the Tri-Color, at the Kartavya Path ( the Wide and Grand Road at New Delhi, previously named as Rajpath and further Previously named as Kingsway). The Celebrations are distinguished by a Show Case of National Military and Defence Might, Display of Strength of Culture and Heritage with a Grand Parade of Defence and Civilian formations of the Nation. Thus the Republic Day remains committed to the Hon'ble Incumbent President of India to preside over it and do the honours,
This is a Beautiful Tradition of India to celebrate the Two National Days at the National Level Celebrations, the World sees and observes with keen interest and recognition.
Of course the Celebrations throughout the Nation further at State Level and at mass scale in People Institutions are done by following formal protocol raditions locally, that is very much recognized.
With Best wishes of the Republic Day of India celebrated on 26th January 2024.
