GOOD WISHES ON BOTH "EID-UL-FITR" 
AND "AKSHAYA TRITIYA"

Today Two Important Festivals are being Celebrated Throughout India, across the country :

1. Eid-ul-Fitr :

"Eid-ul-Fitr" is an important festival being observed in India today(22-April-2023) by the friends who practice Islamic Faith. The Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr has started being observed Globally since yesterday (depending on sighting of moon in specific countries/locations of the world) and it is being Celebrated in India today (as per the moon sighting tradition). While 24% (about 1.87 billion or 1870 million) of World Population practising Islamic faith are observing this Festival starting since yesterday (21 April)  and extended till today. In India 14% (20 Crores or 200 million) people are observing this festival.

After a full month of Ramadan with dawn to dusk fasting with the prime purpose of seeking Blessings, Peace and Prosperity for the People in General, the people of Islamic faith are observing "Eid-ul-Fitr" or in short Eid today as the concluding Celebration and Festival Day.

My knowledge on Eid-ul-Fitr festival is really very limited to elaborate further, let me admit humbly.

2. "Akshaya Tritiya" :

Interestingly "Akshaya Tritiya" as a traditional Festival for the population (including myself) practicing Hinduism has fallen today on 22nd-April-2023.

Akshaya Tritiya is a festival, relevant for and being celebrated by 15% ( 1.2 Billion or 1200 million) of world population. In India 79% of Population ( 110 Crores or 1100 million) are observing this Festival.

Akshaya Tritiya is considered an auspicious day for any "New Beginning". People do all kinds of New Beginnings from today, starting from the beginning of the "Farming" in Agriculture for the year from today.

From Ancient times, Akshaya Tritiya has been linked to starting of the "Farming" activity in Agriculture for the year from Today. Later it has been extended to the New Beginnings in Business and any Other Activities to be auspicious from today. Definitely in the Eastern Part of India, where I have accurate exposure, every farmer does some Cultivation of the Land and Sowing of the Rice Seeds by doing some "Puja" in the Agricultural fields, beginning of the farming for the year wishing for a robust agriculture for the year for the farmer.
