MAHA SHIVA RATRI WISHES FOR THE DAY FOR EVERYONE

MAHA SHIVA RATRI WISHES FOR THE DAY (18-Feb-2023) FOR EVERYONE

I am writing this message without any religious bias and religious confinement. Nobody should think that way, I am making it very clear at the outset.

However, I do write on some important festivals celebrated across India from time to time as you see, to let people know its importance and significance for the society and people at large. I write on some festivals as I know about it well being from the faith and I do not write on others on which I do not know well, but I have utmost respect for everyone's faith and I appreciate  very much when anyone writes on such festivals if they know well to make the best use of it (no misuse).

I myself being born and following a specific faith, I do respect it utmost, I have tried to keep myself committed as much as possible within my birth and faith, even many would not know, I did not touch liquor in my life time, no smoking, pan, bidi and I have respected my faith to the utmost. At the same time, I worked with all other faiths in my life time both nationally and internationally also and respected all of them utmost as good as mine with great bonding everywhere for that reason liberally. I did receive respects for being committed to my faith and at the same time respecting others utmost in their domain of faiths, it goes without saying.

In nut-shell, I make best use of these festivals for better human wellbeing and for the society, and I let people know of its significance in the little way I could and I do not venture into its mis-use in any way.

Today is Maha Shiva Ratri which is an important Festival, that gets celebrated across India from North to South and from East to West, uniformly .

Maha Shiva Ratri is primarily celebration of the Wedding Anniversary of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Shiva is otherwise named as "MAHADEV"  which means the Boss of the Gods. He is respected by every god and goddesses to that extent. Also because Lord Shiva has the "Power of Destruction" with him, and no power could stand before it, he is known as the Mahadev ( while Lord Brahma has the Power of Creation, Lord Vishnu has the Power of Administration -the power sharing formula of the 3-Big Gods - as good as a Cabinet for the Universe ).

But, Lord Shiva is a very kind God, a Great Giver, the Symbol of "Tyag" (Sacrifice) which few would like to do. He gave everything whatever anyone asked for whatever ( it did not mean that he had nothing ). And kept with him. as seen from His attire itself, which no one wanted to keep. Being most handsome took the form of a "Tyagi" (Sacrificer) by his attire. Goddess Parvati ( Spouse of Lord Shiva) is known to be the most Beautiful Goddess, she was always teased by others for her Spouse's ( Lord Shiva's ) attire and looks on surface. However, she honoured Lord Shiva as her Spouse the most and even once jumped into the "Yagna Fire" for the honour and dignity of Lord Shiva as her Spouse, when she felt Lord Shiva was dishonoured during the Yagna done by her own father and Lord Shiva was not invited based on his attire and looks ( being the Son-in-law and to be respected by her father ).  The Honour and Dignity of her spouse (Lord Shiva) was such important for Goddess Parvati. This signified the Honour and Dignity of anyone in the society has to be respected utmost.

BEST WISHES ON MAHA SHIVA RATRI FOR EVERYONE.
This is a day normally dedicated for Spouses, Sacrifice, Honour and Dignity.

I am not using an image in this message as there are many images universally understood and it exist.
