POPULARITY OF LEADERSHIPS DO CHANGE
BY THE IMPACT OF THEIR DECISIONS

The popularity of leaderships do change worldwide by the decisions they take and implement, and how much those decisions impact the people in general. The Face Value and Oratorial Skills can do transient help, however can fade rapidly. Unless proved by actions and its impact, soon the face value and oratorial skills can be non-value.

Popularity built by media projections can be casualty of first order. When the popularity of leaderships starts declining, it is normal that the ruling outfits describe it as an opposition manufacturing as an escapist route, however in reality it is not the opposition who demolishes the popularity of leaderships, they may be showing only the mirror image; it is the leaderships who in effect, demolish their popularity by their own actions and its impact. The Leaderships gain popularity by blaming opposition for everything many a times, but the reverse doesn’t work in that order; they lose popularity due to their actions only. Because, it is the Citizens only who ultimately build the popularity of the leaderships. It is the citizens who withdraw the popularity when they find that the leadership is not meeting their expectations, no media can help or any amount of media projections by favoured broadcasting cannot help when the citizens get disenchanted and withdraw the popularity. The best of oratorial skills and speeches that sometimes are used to create magic in building popularity become non effective when the population becomes disinterested.

In the contemporary times, it is seen that popularity of leaderships is getting eroded in no uncertain terms. It has happened in Israel where once a highly popular leadership has the popularity eroded drastically as per published reports. In India, the record numbers of dislikes far exceeding the likes to news posts and views of the leadership on ruling side that surfaced in media in very recent days, as has been reported recently, indicates that the popularity is getting fast eroded and it is causing worry to the concerned outfit. It is happening in other major countries as well. The visible or invisible impact of various decisions and actions over time on the population in general, the behaviour of economy and imposing of decisions not liked by people, using force, authorities and  agencies to book and harass innocent citizens and overall when the expectations of the general public is not met, erosion of popularity does happen and happens faster than it can be controlled or restored by any efforts. History has not spared the once extremely popular leaders to find their popularity is all gone one day even during their tenure in office. Instances are many in the world and also in India over historic timeline, needless to name and create any controversy on that, it is well known and understood. One of the convenient and easiest way to describe loss of own popularity, is to call it as handiwork of some opposition outfits, however in reality other than showing the mirror, the opposition out fits do not demolish the popularity, the leaderships demolish it by their own  decisions and actions and without reviewing own policies, if it is expected on opposition to maintain their popularity, the sweet surprises come as more loss of own popularity. Ultimately popularity is not the patent of any leadership and is not protected by any law by anyone like patents and trademarks which are generally protected by enforceable laws. Popularity cannot be retained by use of force or inflicting fear in the minds of the population, it is retained by the continual trust of the fellow citizens on the leaderships. If the trust is gone, the Popularity is gone and vice versa. The leaderships who foresee the impact of their decisions before it is taken and decide to go or forego with such decisions, they retain the popularity over time.
