A HUMAN BRAIN IS HORIZON-LESS FOR WORKING IN NUMEROUS AREAS AND ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERTISE

 

   A human brain is horizon-less for working in numerous areas and acquiring expertise therein. It depends on the specific human being with respect to his/her situation and its environment, his/her education, training and motivation, working exposure to various areas, permitting health condition and energy level, interest areas and efforts in pursuing and acquiring knowledge, skill and expertise in several areas far and wide. Practically a human is capable of acquiring knowledge, skill and expertise in a large number of areas, no limit or horizon can be fixed to it, it depends on the person and his/her interest and efforts in this direction. It is possible and there can not be any doubt about it.

This is justified from the fact that, according to published reports, a Human Brain (normal human brain) consists of about 100 billion neurons (brain cells) with around 1 quadrillion (one million billion) connections called as synapses wiring these cells together. Each microscopic branches of brain cells work like a minicomputer. Hence the human brain can work like a well connected and uninterrupted net-work of such a large number of mini computers to provide unimaginable and superior power that comes with a human brain.

Depending on the good use the person makes of his/her brain in appropriate areas, a human can acquire knowledge, skill and expertise in areas without horizon.

The people who restrict themselves to work in any specific area or limited areas, work lifetime in such limited areas only, they bind their brain to work in those areas only, and they are not able to visualize the fact that a human is capable of working and acquiring knowledge, skill and expertise in a large number of areas, that could be horizon-less. Those who have restricted themselves to work on a specific area or few areas only, at the most, they could be specialist in that area or in those few areas, however, they may be many times, unable to think and even most of the times find difficulty to reconcile to the fact that a human is capable of working in a large number of areas and acquire knowledge, skill and expertise even specializing in all those areas as an expert. There comes a factor of jealousy and ignorance as to how could another person work and acquire expertise in many such areas, while such people can only work in a specific and or a few areas. It is a myth and limitation of their thinking due to their restricted condition where they have bound themselves within a limited horizon, however they would not be able to think of the fact that another person can work in a multitude of areas with appropriate knowledge, skill and expertise without being bound by horizon and in excellent efficiency as well. Therefore, they may start doubting and casting aspersions about the capability of other persons who have acquired knowledge, skill and expertise in a large number of areas to which they have not been exposed and also can not visualize by binding themselves to limited areas.

This makes the real difference, that some people would be capable of handling multiple tasks demanding multitude of expertise areas efficiently, where as some people would be able to work in a restricted number of areas to which they have bound themselves during their life time. Therefore, as examples, there are people in the world who work in one area focusing and win gold medals in Olympic Games. At the same time, there are people in the World who could do tasks in multitude of areas with superlative efficiency.  

As said above and by my own first hand experience, acquiring knowledge, skill and expertise in a large number of areas is possible for a human being as horizon-less, it has to be believed that it is possible and can not be bound by the opinion or doubt of the other persons who have restricted horizon and can not visualize that another person is capable of doing it. Such opinions of doubtfulness on human capability and restricted horizon for a human brain to work efficiently are to be ignored for better.
