COMMITMENT TO PERFORMANCE AT HIGHEST OFFICES
COMMITMENT TO PERFORMANCE AT HIGHEST OFFICES
The news that PM Shinzo Abe of Japan has announced to resign due to
poor health conditions saying “I cannot be prime minister if I cannot make the
best decisions for the people. I have decided to step down from my post” is a
bright example of commitment to performance at highest offices in the
contemporary times. Upholding this commitment is not easy, as lot of greed for
power and position has to be shed with large generosity and with a Statesman’s
mind and Heart. PM Shinzo Abe could retain office up to September 2021 as per
Japanese system, however he is leaving the chair citing his health reasons a
little year before. It is reported that PM Shinzo Abe was suffering from
ulcerative colitis for some years.
The step taken by PM Shinzo Abe is worth a good praise, and
this example will stay in the world’s history.
All the best wishes for PM Shinzo Abe for his future and a word of praise for present gracious step.
