  AIR INDIA GETS HANDED OVER TO TATA  TODAY (27-JAN-2022) In my further life time from today, if anyone asks me what is the important event on 27-January, the next date after India's Republic Day celebrations, I will painfully answer : Handing Over of Air India to TATA. Today, we become a large nation, without a Civilian National Air Carrier of our own. History has recorded 1953, when some Son of the Soil, nationalized Air India and felt it should be India's own, National Carrier. History records today(January 27, 2022) as the day, some other (Son of the Soil) handed over it to TATA. I have not changed my views since this issue of handing over Air India to TATA came up in October, 2021. I am pained and I am not happy with this happening in our Nation.
