THE NAME OF COURAGE CALLED LAL BAHADUR SASHTRI

THE NAME OF COURAGE CALLED LAL BAHADUR SASHTRI            The Courage cannot be bought by paying a price, neither can be acquired by occupying a chair of power nor by inheritance. By occupying a chair of power and inheriting a power centre, although and admittedly one can display some temporary induced courage but not without limitation. The courage is a gift that comes with the persona, that came with Lal Bahadur (Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, The Former Prime Minister of India). When Lal Bahadur was a young boy, he didn't care that he had no money to afford a ferry, he dared to swim the whole of River Ganga if it came to reach his school. While at that time, many professional divers or swimmers were afraid to swim across the long stretch of the River Ganga, however, as a small boy, Lal Bahadur did it with his enormous courage. He uprightly threw away his family surname at the age of 12 only, to express his disliking for the deep rooted and deep rotten, caste-system of India

TURNING POINT OF LIFE: TO LEAD AND TO FATHER A NATION: THE BEST CASE OF MAHATMA GANDHI

TURNING POINT OF LIFE: TO LEAD AND TO FATHER A NATION: THE BEST CASE OF MAHATMA GANDHI     Every person in whatever situation he/ she may be in, would have a turning point in life, that would install a change of course of his/her life to scale much higher heights (or down turn to much deeper depth-which no one likes or less cited). Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (the given family name of Mahatma Gandhi) was an England educated successful Barrister, a bright career of a jurist was ahead and possibly he had wished to be one of the best jurists of the world. He did never expect that he would do anything other than his illustrious career as a Barrister and scale great heights as a jurist of the world.  However, he had a turning point of life, that was the incident of Britishers throwing him out of the 1st Class Railway Compartment at the Pietermaritzburg railway station, located about one hour railway run from Durban in South Africa, on 7 th June, 1893. In spite of having a valid First Class

BETTER TO BE MINDFUL OF A POTENTIAL BLACK MARKET THAT MAY RAISE HEAD IF STEPS ARE HURRIED AND DETERRENT  TO CHASE THE IDEA TO BE SELF RELIANT   The painful and enduring experiences during the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic stretching over three quarters of a year till date, has led a number of nations globally, including India to think and pursue the idea of being self-sufficient or self-reliant or “atma nirbhar” as called in India. The “Dream” or “Idea” of being self-sufficient or self-reliant in the long term is always considered to be a good dream or a good idea and it can be subscribed by one and large. Mahatma Gandhi was an ardent proponent of Self Reliance and even in post-independence era stretching from the call of Mahatma Gandhi from pre-independence era, India pursued the doctrine of self reliance and development of internal economy although accused of license raj or closed economy until 1991 when it opened its economy to the world market. India did Green Revolution and Whi

MAHATMA GANDHI PROVES THE THEORY OF “ONE PERSON CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE”

MAHATMA GANDHI PROVES THE THEORY OF “ONE PERSON CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE” Mahatma Gandhi, the father of Indian Nation, proves the theory of “One Person can make the Difference”. There are many examples in Science and Technology, wherein every invention or a discovery, done by an individual has contributed to the human society and civilization with a great difference. Just to give few examples, almost everyone in all corners of the world would immediately recall from top of the mind the names of ,   “Alexander Graham Bell” ( who invented telephone ), “Thomas Alva Edison”, (who invented phonograph, the motion picture camera, and early electric light bulb), “Louis Pasteur”(who invented pasteurization and discovered principles of vaccination, microbial fermentation and pasteurization with significant breakthroughs in the causes and prevention of diseases, and his discoveries have saved many lives over more than 150years time since his invention and discoveries ) and “Maria Salomea Sklodow
