SOME INSIGHT FROM THE NEW PORTAL OF DGFT (DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE) FOR THE BENEFIT OF (RELEVANT) READERS   I am sharing some insight out of first hand experience from the New Portal of DGFT (Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India) for the benefit of relevant readers who may have IEC (Import Export Code). Like GST Portal and the New Income Tax Portal, a New DGFT Portal have been put into function. By a Notification No: 58 / 2015-2020, the DGFT ( Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India ) dated 12-February-2021 made it mandatory that the IEC Codes have to be updated electronically through the New Portal (even if no changes, it has to be just updated as confirmed on line) in April-June Period of the financial year. This practice did not exist before, is a newly introduced practice. The Notification, may be, has escaped the attention of lot of people under Covid-19 pressure. I am cut-pasting the three clauses that are releva

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE EVEN A LADY SELLING FISH FROM A BASKET ON THE STREET

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE EVEN A LADY SELLING FISH FROM A BASKET ON THE STREET Sharing an experience of just of morning yesterday (19 th Dec, 2021, Sunday), for the benefit of the readers. Today(19th Dec 2021), in the morning, I went for a walk of about 2kms that I normally cover in 30mins and I come back by 30mins. Back on the way, I just got into a small street of Bombay (Mumbai), India, where there are some men and women who sell fish sitting on the road itself from small baskets that they carry on their heads. A specific variety of sea fish popular across India, little expensive also, was being sold by a man there. The size of fish was hardly 50gms each, he had only 10 of it , the price he offered was agreeable to me, hence I picked up. But I was looking for another 10 of that same fish to make up the quantity I wanted for family consumption. Then I found out another woman was selling the same fish and similar size. I just told her that if she gives 10 of that fish at the

AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINES IN HOUSING SOCIETIES: A NOVEL CONCEPT

Image
AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINES IN HOUSING SOCIETIES: A NOVEL CONCEPT   Two Automatic Vending Machines for consumable/utility products have been operational from today in my Housing Society premises at Bombay (Mumbai), in India. Not naming the Vendor for commercial neutrality purpose. However, it is a novel concept, anytime one has a need in the mid-night while at home in a Housing Society, can use it and meet the need, like own refrigerator at home, one has to only climb down from own flat to ground zero. The Tetrapak Milk of "Amul" has been kept among other merchandized packaged products that are essential consumables/utility products of our everyday use. My housing society will have possibility of some earnings/rent out of it also. Institutions can get such Automatic Vending Machines installed at their own premises or peer premises on some kind of revenue sharing basis, with the vendor and can put the earnings out of it for some noble cause of their people or for comm

LTA CASH VOUCHER SCHEME : BENEFIT ALLOWED TO SALARIED IN AY 2021-22 IT RETURN, INDIA: WRITING FOR THE BENEFIT OF READERS   On public demand, explaining this subject for the benefit of the readers. Yes, in the new Portal of ITR (Income Tax Return) e-filing for AY (Assessment Year) 2021-22 it ( LTA Cash Voucher Scheme for the Salaried ) has been allowed except for the Central Government Employees of India. Under normal circumstances, under LTA ( Leave Travel Assistance) Scheme, the salaried employees are allowed to claim income tax exemption for Tickets of Travel (leisure travel) within India for 4-family members including himself/herself once in 2-years but twice in a block of 4-years u/s 10(5) of IT Act. Since under Covid-19 pandemic, travelling was almost impossible, the Govt of India allowed LTA Cash Voucher Scheme to,  some way compensate the Salaried persons for this purpose in Income Tax Return for Assessment Year (AY) 2021-22 ( relating to Financial Year 2020-21 ).

SOME IMPORTANT INSIGHTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF READERS: FROM THE NEW PORTAL OF INCOME TAX RETURN E-FILING, INDIA

SOME IMPORTANT INSIGHTS FOR  THE BENEFIT OF READERS: FROM THE NEW PORTAL OF  INCOME TAX RETURN E-FILING, INDIA As reported in Media vociferously, after a long drawn struggle between the Indian Finance Ministry and Infosys Technologies (the software developers and handlers for it), finally the New E-Filing Portal has settled quite largely for the Indian Citizens to file the Income Tax Returns with the present last date being 31-Dec-2021 for the present Assessment Year 2021-22. I am mentioning some insights from it for the benefit of the my Readers Community : 1.       The New Portal handling is not the job of ordinary persons who are not reasonably technology-used, it requires some diligence and practice and comprehending ability to handle and do e-filing of IT-Returns. Very High Tech. 2.           In the new portal, the On-Line filing module is easier to handle than the Off-line module. 3.          The New Portal has locked the only-Salaried Persons (who get Form-16 of ITDS u/s

PRESENTING AND SHOW CASING THE HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA SHRI NARENDRA MODI JI AND DR.V.KURIEN TOGETHER

Image
PRESENTING AND SHOW CASING THE HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA SHRI NARENDRA MODI JI AND DR.V.KURIEN TOGETHER In fact, the incumbent Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji and Dr. V. Kurien had converged together in many occasions for the benefit of Farmers, "Amul" (GCMMF-Gujarat Cooperative Milk  Marketing Federation Limited), NDDB (National Dairy Development Board) and IRMA(Institute of Rural Management, Anand ). Some people are showing a different picture to create a divide, that I do not accept in principle. I am presenting unbiased here, to show case that they had converged to help the Farmers, "Amul"(GCMMF), NDDB and IRMA to prosper for National Development. Some unfounded myths of differences being propagated and perpetuated by some people with bias should go. I have seen the following Advertisement released by "Amul" in the Page No-3 of The Times of India, Mumbai (Mumbai Edition), Thursday, dated October 07, 2021 ( Image herein below

NDDB SHOULD BE THE INSTITUTION TO PROMOTE THE CO-OPERATIVE UNIVERSITY BEING LOOKED FOR BY GOVT OF INDIA

NDDB SHOULD BE THE INSTITUTION TO PROMOTE THE CO-OPERATIVE UNIVERSITY BEING  LOOKED  FOR BY GOVT OF INDIA I have read the News Item in the media where in, the incumbent Hon'ble Home Minister of India as well as the Minister for the new Ministry of Co-operation has said in the Parliament of India that the Government of India is looking for Institutions who would come forward to promote a "Co-operative University". He has also said that some institutions have come forward and offered to lead including Pune based "Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management " but the Government has not yet decided about it. Dr. V. Kurien, founder of NDDB ( National Dairy Development Board ), located at Anand (Gujarat State) in India,   during his life time tried to uphold the philosophy of Co-operatives. He had proved the value of Co-operative by demonstrating successes through the organizations like “Amul” (the Globally Famous Dairy and Milk Brand today) and t
