MANAGING THE "HOLE" BEFORE MANAGING THE "STRAWS"  IN THE CONTEX OF THE BAN OF THE PLASTIC STRAWS Reportedly there is a plan to Ban the Plastic Straws being supplied along with the Instantly Consumable Beverages (such as Juices, Milk Produces and soft drinks etc.) to reduce the consumption of single use plastic for environmental protection purpose in India. Nobody is really saying, another important crux of the matter is how to manage the "hole". The Plastic straws whether sharpened on one end or otherwise, are strong and hard enough to be able to pierce through the Aluminium/Metalic Foil of the Tetra-bricks (tetra packs) to cause the hole to draw the beverage out for sipping through the straw.
