DAIRY INDUSTRY WILL REMAIN AS AN IMPORTANT COMPLIMENT AND NOT TO BE PERCEIVED AS A PARENT OR SUBSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE

DAIRY INDUSTRY WILL REMAIN AS AN IMPORTANT COMPLIMENT AND NOT TO BE PERCEIVED AS A PARENT OR SUBSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE         In recent times I have been reading some articles and statements of some people, supposed to be the Pandits (meaning in English: Learned persons) of Dairy Industry and vouching to say, the Agriculture can be driven in the Dairy way. Also, statements being made by such pandits that Rice and Wheat cultivation could be diverted to oilseeds and pulses because we have got surplus of rice and wheat and deficit in Oil (edible oil ) and Pulses that are imported.  Such articles and statements being made when the Nation is going through an unprecedented crisis, in my opinion are not responsible and also not right. Our self sufficiency of Rice and Wheat in India should be no one's envy or eye sour. Still today, more than 80 million ( 800 lakhs ) people of India, as reported in records, remain in hunger and do not get the staples of Rice ...

MINTING AND PRINTING CURRENCY AS A SOVEREIGN FISCAL MEASURE: IN NEED AND IN CRISIS

MINTING AND PRINTING CURRENCY   AS A SOVEREIGN FISCAL MEASURE: IN NEED AND IN CRISIS   The People many times come with large exclamation marks when they hear the Nations are coming out with huge stimulus packages during a Crisis. The obvious question is where will the money come from? How will the Sovereign Government manage such huge sums of money to be spent? Are they going to borrow from World Bank (WB), International Monetary Fund (IMF) or from all such big world level Funding Bodies or from other friendly and wealthy nations? Are there going to be more taxes imposed on the people? At the same time when there are also tax exemptions announced simultaneously the exclamation mark becomes further larger. Ultimately there is a famous saying; “WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY”. During the Global Crisis that has arisen due to Covid-19 Pandemic, that has in fact, shattered the World Economy and National Economies, from Strongest to the Weakest ones, withou...
